I think that I have come to the conclusion that I am a shopaholic. I did not think I was that bad until, I read this article on how to cure being a shopaholic. I quickly realized someone was talking about me.

On Friday, I realized the urge and the out of body experience I have when I am shopping. My sister and I were at the mall and I was like a mad man, she doesn’t come shopping with me, so she has never seen me like that. When I am shopping I feel like I am on top of the world. If I am upset, I shop. If I am happy, I shop. I find every excuse in the world to shop.

I have not read about too many shopaholics that have never been in some type of debt or trouble. I will be 30 in a few weeks and need to get a hold on this. I found six steps that can get me started. Is there anyone out there that understands what I am going through? How did you handle it?

Needless to say, I need not worry about Cyber Monday.

Stop shopping here.
