Mardi Gras Party at Papa Mojo’s Roadhouse

Looking for a fun way to celebrate Fat Tuesday New Orlean’s style? Papa Mojos is inviting the Triangle to come have some Mardi Gras fun from 5:30-9:30pm tonight.
They’ll have two party rooms, two bands, tantalizing Bayou food and a Shrimp Boil on top! Guests are encouraged to meander from one room to the other as they eat, drink and enjoy some Mardi Gras mania. Also, don’t forget your mask (you could win a prize!) According to their website “this is the the real deal – as “down-home” a Mardi Gras party as you’ll find without hopping on a plane!!”
Sounds like a great time and good opportunity for some beads! What are your Mardi Gras plans?
Canes at Home on Sunday!

The Canes next home game is set for Sunday evening, at 5:00pm. Carolina will play the Boston at the RBC center. Tickets are still available here.
The Hurricanes are having a disappointing season with only 14 wins so far and 27 losses!
Perhaps it’s time to go see them play. Maybe a little fan-love might inspire them to greatness.
I have actually never been to a NHL Hockey game. I’ve been offered tickets to the Thrashers here in Atlanta, but have had to pass every time. The Thrashers are only 7 games ahead of the Canes. It’s never too late for a comeback? Or is it…when does the season end?
Do we have any hockey fans here at Cosgrove Hill?
What Would You Give The Death Bear

OMG! I think this is the cutest, yet much needed, thing in the world. Have you ever heard of the Death Bear? He is in Brooklyn, New York and he comes to take away all the things that remind you of a painful break-up, a bad habit, or any other painful thing in your life.
You text the company and they send the Death Bear to come by and retrieve the items. Once the items are with the Death Bear, they are never to be seen again.
I would love for Death Bear to make a trip to Atlanta and take away a few people in my life. Do you need a Death Bear and for what? Maybe I should start a Death Bear service in Atlanta.
More on the Death Bear here.

If you’re ready the showdown will begin. The 5-7 Carolina Panthers are set to take on the 7-5 New England Patriots on Sunday at 1pm.
According to ESPN.com, The team will try to avoid its first skid of that length in more than seven years as it hosts the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, with New England looking to keep sole possession of the AFC East lead and remain unbeaten at Gillette Stadium.
What will be the keys to Carolina beating New England? See what ESPN.com has to say here.

Confessions Of A Shopaholic

I think that I have come to the conclusion that I am a shopaholic. I did not think I was that bad until, I read this article
on how to cure being a shopaholic. I quickly realized someone was talking about me.
On Friday, I realized the urge and the out of body experience I have when I am shopping. My sister and I were at the mall and I was like a mad man, she doesn’t come shopping with me, so she has never seen me like that. When I am shopping I feel like I am on top of the world. If I am upset, I shop. If I am happy, I shop. I find every excuse in the world to shop.
I have not read about too many shopaholics that have never been in some type of debt or trouble. I will be 30 in a few weeks and need to get a hold on this. I found six steps that can get me started. Is there anyone out there that understands what I am going through? How did you handle it?
Needless to say, I need not worry about Cyber Monday.
Stop shopping here.
